Recently unearthed, this is the largest known collection of photographic history of the Gunnison Valley(Colorado). These photographs were discovered in 1998 beneath an historic Victorian mansion.
Hot Damn! Foto, Inc. was founded by Robert Lowe after he found the almost seven hundred 4X5 negatives taken by a newspaper photographer/owner between 1945 and 1957, the Post World War II era. The truly funky, and quite unusual content represents everybody and everything in the Gunnison Valley during this period.
A very clear cross section of life in the Valley Post WWII, the continually growing number of enlarged and framed photographs will be on display in the conference room of Edward Jones Investments at 312 North Main St. in downtown Gunnison weekdays between 8 A.M. and 4:30 P.M. or by appointment.
